Directly opposite the Firemen's Monument is the tomb of Lodge No. 30 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The mounded structure is graced by thee bronzed figure of an elk, the symbol of the fraternity. The marble chamber beneath contains eighteen burial vaults. Its granite entrance employs the Doric style in its use of two fluted columns supporting an establature. A clock with hands indicating the 11th hour, another symbol of the Elks, adorns the pediment. Bronze doors seal the entry.
